Girl Superhero Costumes

There are a great range of girl superhero costumes available. Which one does your little hero want to be?

Some of the more common girl superhero costumes are wonder woman, or Batgirl, but you can find other girl variations of Halloween super hero costumes like Flash, Captain America, even Iron Man.

Lets take a look at some of the most popular girl costumes:

Teen Girls Batgirl Costume
The Dark Knight’s companion Batgirl girl superhero costume is a black mini-dress with cape and bright yellow batman logo and utility belt.

She has the black eye mask with the pointed bat ears to hide her true identity. To ward off the super-villains she will use her bladed arm bracers and kick butt in her black boots (sold separately).

This officially licensed girls Batgirl costume is an outfit that your teen can go trick or treating in and still look cool. The girl superhero costume comes in sizes 2-6 but you can find toddler sizes and adult costumes too.

Girls Wonder Woman Costume
Wonder Woman is probably the most famous female superhero that there is. the Amazon princess arrived on the comic scene in the early 1940s. This is the toddler Wonder Woman costume, but there are great teen costumes and adult Wonder Woman costumes as well.

In the traditional styling, this little outfit has the red, blue and white dress with the gold belt and head band. The red satin like top has the gold Wonder Woman emblem on the center of the chest and is attached to the blue with white stars skirt by the golden belt.

She has all the accessory details to go with this wonderful costume. The silver arm gauntlets to deflect speeding bullets, the red cape that is often depicted in the comics but not the 70s tv show with Linda Carter. And then there are the white and red boot covers. Just make a golden lasso out of some yellow cord and you have the total Wonder Woman costume.

Pink Power Ranger Girl Superhero Costume
A highly rated Halloween outfit, this pink power ranger costume is a yearly favorite.

As a deluxe girl superhero costume, it comes with the hot pink and white jumpsuit. The legs are wide enough to slip over a pair of white boots that you can also order. The outfit works with white tennis shoes, but the boots really make it look great!

Then of course the mask comes with the power ranger costume. It is bright pink to match the jumpsuit and has the silver mouth cover and the black inset at the eyes to look just like the cartoon. A little black face paint around your eyes and they will blend in great.

You can always pair this with other power ranger costumes if you have a group getting together.

Girl superheros have been around since the 40s. The first known female character appeared as an ancient Egyptian woman who transformed into a skull faced super-heroine named Fantomah.

Another early hero was Invisible Scarlet O’neil and is probably a prelude to the invisible girl of the Fantastic 4.
